Ali Larijani made these remarks in Tehran on Friday. He added that in history reactionary thinking led to long wars and deaths of millions, and that after World War II, international systems such as the UN and the Security Council were established to prevent the revival of such ideas, but now these institutions have become tragedy.
Larijani said, unfortunately, that very same reactionary thought has emerged again, and that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are being pursued by individuals who advocate for “peace through power,” the bloodthirsty ruler of history. Their message is summarised in “Subattle or fight us,” he said. He added that Mongols and Hitler expressed the same ideas Trump is talking about today.
He also said that the outcome of this ideology during Trump’s presidency is international harm and bloodshed, but that the people of Palestine and Gaza have not surrendered.
Larijani also pointed out that Trump’s theory failed because Iran responded decisively under the wise leadership of its leadership, preventing this theory from gaining a foothold within the country. He added that the nation must be aware that the fuss is not producing results, and that new resistant Middle East is emerging.
They claimed they removed Hamas and destroyed Hezbollah, but he said 21 months later, Hamas is still alive as he is still in military operations.
