Arakcchi and Pashinyan met in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed his satisfaction with the progress in cooperation between Armenia and Iran.
He also explained that relations between the two countries are based on the mutual and natural interests of both countries, which have been established over the years. He said bonds are moving towards an increase in integration.
Emphasizing his country’s determination to maintain peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, the Prime Minister of Armenia also welcomed Iran’s positive role in helping to strengthen security and lasting peace in the Caucasus.
Foreign Minister Arakich said for him that growing relations between Iran and Alameni has mutual benefits for both countries and ensures peace and stability in the region.
He emphasized that Iran and Armenia strive to promote relations and cooperation in all sectors, particularly economic, trade, tourism, transportation, transportation and energy sectors, by utilizing civilized, cultural and historical connections and human-to-human relationships.
Araguchi also said the safety and stability of the South Caucasus is of strategic value for Iran.
He also emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran by respecting the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, avoiding the use of force, and using diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Arachki also held a meeting with Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
Araguchi also held a meeting with Yerevan Speaker of Armenian Parliament Allen Simoneyan.
