Foreign Minister Abbas Arakich said Iran is more determined than ever to reach a fair and balanced agreement.
“We have decided to postpone negotiations for the fourth round, along with the Omani and American aspects, due to logistical and technical reasons,” Arakich wrote on his X account on Thursday.
He said on the part of Iran there was no change in “our resolve” to reach the negotiated solution.
“Indeed, we are determined to reach a more fair and balanced agreement than ever before, building confidence that Iran’s nuclear program will remain in peace forever, ensuring the end of sanctions and fully respected Iran’s rights,” Arakich added.
Earlier on Thursday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Esmaeli Bakaei announced the change in the dates for the next round of indirect Iran-US consultations scheduled to be held in Rome on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Referring to the announcement of the issue by the Foreign Minister of Oman, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the postponement of the consultation was based on the proposal of the Foreign Minister of Oman and information regarding the next possible date will be provided later.
The fool-eye repeated its decision to use Iranian diplomacy to ensure the legitimate and legal interests of the Iranian state and to end sanctions and economic pressures targeting all Iranian human rights and welfare.
