Speaking on the occasion of Azhar 16 commemorating National Students’ Day, the commander emphasized that the Iranian Air Force has taken great and important steps in the field of knowledge and technology.
Emphasizing the enhancement of students’ scientific knowledge, he said that commanders and officers of the Iranian Air Force must possess two hallmark characteristics: dedication and expertise, so that the constructive relationship between university lecturers and students plays an important role in their scientific and moral growth.
He stressed that human resources are the greatest capital of any organization and there is a need to establish effective cooperation between university lecturers and students in this regard.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Brigadier General Vahedi emphasized the importance of confronting the enemy’s cognitive warfare, saying, “Today’s enemies seek to change the mindset of Iranian youth through cognitive warfare so that proper education combined with ethics can provide the basis for the cultivation and institutionalization of moral virtues.”
Furthermore, he pointed to the outstanding role of the leader of the Islamic revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in the success of the regime, emphasizing that the leader’s important role in guiding the country and embodying the goals of Islamic Iran is one of the main factors for its success.
