In an interview with local Iranian television on Friday, Iranian ambassador for Moscow Kazem Jalali, referred to Russia’s position in the 12-day Israeli war imposed, saying, “From the first day, we have witnessed Russia adopting a strong and robust position against the Zionist regime.
The Russian Ambassador of Iran called for a telephone conversation with the Pezeshkian President on the first day of the war, and on the second day Foreign Minister Araguchi had a telephone conversation with (the Foreign Minister) Lavrov.
He continued it. “After the war, Araguchi came to Moscow and met Putin. Mr. Ali (Ali) Larijani and the Minister of Defense (Iran) also traveled to Moscow.”
Jalali also said, “In a 12-day war, our people absolutely saw how America, Israel and the West engaged in a fully imposed war against the Iranian state with the aim of a change of government.”
The Russian ambassador to Iran said “We must provide a document indicating that the Islamic Republic of Iran has requested that the S-400 be purchased from Russia,” continuing to address the debate surrounding the purchase of the S-400 defense system from the country.
Ambassador Futer welcomed Russia for declaring the snapback mechanism against Iran illegal.
