In response to questions regarding negotiations with the European Troika, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said, “We will adopt this tool whenever we think we need to secure the rights of people, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with using diplomacy to defend the rights of the state.”
In his claim that the US Secretary of State of Iran agreed to a level of uranium enrichment of less than 1%, he said:
Regarding European proposals to delay the snapback mechanism, he added: “Araguchi wrote yesterday to members of the UN and the Security Council. The snapback mechanism is pointless, unfair, unethical and illegal.”
He stressed that European countries and members of the JCPOA have no logical legitimacy to use the resolutions approved to revive sanctions.
Baghaei added that a trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and China will be held in Tehran to discuss nuclear issues and the snapback mechanism.
“We have no plans to hold consultations with the US under the current circumstances,” he further cited.
Earlier on Monday, Baghey announced that Iran and three European countries (France, Germany and the UK) would hold talks in Istanbul on Friday, July 25th at the level of Deputy Minister on Iran’s nuclear issue.
Tehran and Washington engaged in negotiations led by Iranian Foreign President Abbas Aragut and President Donald Trump’s foreigner Steve Witkov, who held five rounds of indirect talks through Oman when Israel launched a series of unattacked attacks.
The Zionist regime fought a war of attack on Iran on June 13, attacking Iranian troops, nuclear and residential areas for 12 days, but the US carried out a military attack on three nuclear facilities in Iran, Natanz, Fordou and Isfahan on June 22.
Iranian troops carried out a powerful counterattack shortly after the attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force implemented 22 waves of retaliation missiles against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which caused significant losses to cities throughout the occupying territories.
In response to the US attack, Iranian forces fired waves of missiles at Aldead Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
The battle was stopped due to a ceasefire that came into effect on June 24th.
