The leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement (NWM) held a meeting of Foreign Minister Seya Akki Abba Aragchi of Iran’s al-Hakim when he visited Telan.
At the conference, the two sides reviewed the latest developments on bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran, highlighting the need to strengthen joint cooperation in various fields.
Also, regional and international issues of interest to both countries were one of the other topics discussed by Araghchi and Hakim.
Hakim praised Iran’s defense against the Zionist regime’s attacks in the 12-day war, saying that Iran is undoubtedly the winner of this war, and that today the region and the world recognize the power of this country.
Leaders of the Iraqi People’s Wisdom Movement further emphasized the importance of continuing political and diplomatic coordination between Baghdad and Tehran to achieve regional stability.
The two also emphasized continued security cooperation and compliance with Iraq and Iran’s security agreements.
