The statement said the UK government has imposed these sanctions on the basis of unfounded pretexts and unfounded accusations. In accordance with the UN Charter, actions that violate the principles of international law in the field of friendly relations and cooperation between nations will damage bilateral relations and exacerbate only mistrust.
The statement said that Iran’s Islamic Republic has always emphasized dialogue and mutual respect in international relations, and has never planned or supported threats to the UK’s internal security, and has never taken any action in this regard.
“All allegations made in this respect have been completely rejected and fundamentally unacceptable,” he added.
The Islamic Republic Embassy in Iran further said that it is the aggressive actions and crimes of Israel’s Zionist regime that truly threatens regional and global peace and security. The regime that crossed the red line with many international crimes, including rape, genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, is considered a major factor in the region’s instability.
The statement further stated that it is surprising that Western countries remained indifferent to international protests against the industrial regime and did not take effective action to stop crime.
At the end of the statement, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Iran is once again highlighting the principle of mutual respect for our country, non-interference in the country’s internal affairs, and constructive cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international levels, and calling for the British government to refrain from continuing hostile policies and destruction.
Continuing Iran’s non-constructive stance on the Islamic Republic, the UK Foreign Ministry announced hours ago that it had added several Iranian trade and petrochemical companies to its sanctions list.
