During a visit to assess the combat readiness of the Revolutionary Guards Navy in the Nazeat Islands, Rear Admiral Abdullahi said the inspection was aimed at assessing the readiness of the force, noting that “significant progress has been made in various areas of the islands and coastal areas.”
He highlighted the deployment of new and advanced capabilities to the Revolutionary Guards Navy, which he said strengthened the force’s operational capabilities and enhanced its ability to conduct a balanced and symmetrical war compared to the previous year.
According to the commander, security in all Iranian islands and coastal areas is fully maintained, indicating that operational forces are increasing their readiness to protect the country’s land and sea borders, especially in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
He added that the current level of readiness is “excellent”, stressing that the military is more capable than ever and more capable than in previous years thanks to motivated and dedicated personnel.
On Monday, Deputy Commander of Iran’s Coordination Forces, Major General Habibollah Sayari, said that the country is constantly strengthening its military capabilities in all areas, stressing that this remains a permanent strategic directive.
He stressed that improving the Army’s air force and all other capabilities has been a continuing priority since the Iran-Iraq war. “Threats are constantly evolving and we must always be prepared. If we have strong and high deterrence, no one will dare to violate our national interests.”
