The Iranian Parliamentary Speaker spoke at a meeting with Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) President Tulia Ackson on the sidelines of the Sixth World Conference of the Sixth World Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday.
Gallibaf stressed that serious attention will be expected to be paid to issues related to human rights abuses at international conferences.
“Today, the world is witnessing what’s going on in Gaza. Unfortunately, children, uninhabited areas, and even the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) camps are being targeted and attacked by Zionists. They use water and food as weapons of war.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian chairman pointed out the importance of developing relations between Iran and Tanzania, adding that “the two countries are likely to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of energy, agriculture, technology, science and academia.”
“In this respect, a well-understood memorandum is engraved between the two countries, and Iran is ready to implement them,” the Iranian chairman emphasized.
The IPU president has expressed his sadness for her to martialism of the Iranian people in the recent attack on the territory of the Israeli regime, emphasizing that parliamentary cooperation will also be significantly strengthened between the two countries as the Iranian and Tanzanian governments have established a good interaction with each other.
Tanzanian students are studying in Iran and the scientific interaction between the two countries is at a good level, Ackson maintains.
During the meeting, she officially invited Iranian Chairman Mohammad Bagh Galibahu to visit Tanzania.
