TEHRAN – Iran’s commander-in-chief says Israel is ready to prevent the spread of tensions and to retaliate decisively if the Islamic Republic is provoked.
General Seyed Abdulrahim Musavi, commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdulrahim Musavi, speaks to reporters on the bystanders of the ceremony, except for the eight-volume encyclopedia of the Army’s role in sacred defense (period of the Iran-Iraq War).
“The Zionist regime is too insignificant to undermine Iran’s greatness,” he said. “In contrast, the power of the Islamic Republic can stand up to Israel and its supporters on extraordinary challenges.”
Referring to the recent wave of hostile statements by Israeli officials, Musabi said, “If they are in a hurry to receive another ‘truth promise’, we are ready to give a perfectly appropriate blow – and collect what they owe us previously.”
He further warned that the current Israeli regime had no judgment to avoid miscalculation. “They know they can’t stand the consequences of such challenges, but mistakes are possible because the administration is currently run by child killers and irrational things.”
Last year, the Islamic Republic demonstrated its military power in the true Promise I and II operation, in which a retaliatory strike was launched in response to Israel’s invasion.
The operation, carried out using hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones, demonstrated the ability to attack Iran’s sensitive Israeli military and intelligence targets with surgical accuracy.
Iranian officials emphasize that the country deployed only a small portion of its firepower during double retaliation.
Iran has vowed to provide a “strong response” to the country or its interests to Israel’s further acts of Israeli attack.
The Israeli regime threatened to launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear facility in the coming months amid in indirect talks between Tehran and Washington over a potential nuclear deal.
US President Donald Trump reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Washington didn’t want to support military action against Iran for now.
