In the phone, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci and Foreign Minister Kasper Berdkamp exchanged opinions on issues relating to bilateral relations and regional and international development.
Emphasizing Iran’s approach to pursuing good diplomatic relations with other countries, Aragut said at the meeting that “Iran is ready to engage and interact with European countries based on mutual respect and common interest.”
The Dutch Foreign Minister also mentioned the long history of Holland-Iran relations and the importance of Iran’s role and position in regional development.
He emphasized the need to use all diplomatic capabilities to generate an understanding of intergovernmental relations and resolve differences.
Casper Beldkamp also revealed about the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf. “This is a bilateral issue between Iran and the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands. As always, the bilateral interaction between Iran and the United Arab Emirates settles international law to resolve the dispute in this respect.”
