The company also began manufacturing six firefighters during the ceremony, a news agency reported.
Ali Darabi, CEO of Shahid Mahallati Shipbuilding Complex, said the company has the ability to manufacture, repair and overhaul over 200 large, medium and small vessels a year.
The company was able to build, modify and refine dozens of vessels belonging to the Iranian military, he added.
Additionally, on Thursday, Pezeshkian visited the Iranian Marine Industry Company, also known as Sadra.
As one of the largest contractors of Iran’s offshore oil and gas projects, Sadra is active in the field of engineering services and shipbuilding, building and installing oil terminals and offshore oil and gas facilities, as well as coastal protection and docking work. .
