Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dal met today with Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi, who has sought Abbas Araguchi of Islamic Republic of Iran, Iran, a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
Foreign Minister Araguchi is part of a delegation accompanied by Masuud Pezeshuan, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, due to his visit to Pakistan on August 2-3, 2025.
During the meeting, both parties held preliminary discussions on important substantial issues to be addressed at the leadership level. These included the need to strengthen mechanisms for regional development, bilateral trade and connectivity, energy cooperation, and regular consultation and coordination.
The two top diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to deepen long-standing brotherhood between Pakistan and Iran. They also emphasized the importance of sustainable dialogue, strengthening cooperation on economic and security issues, and the importance of exchange between larger people and people.
