Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi and his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dal discussed the crimes of the Israeli regime over a phone call on Friday.
Referring to the devastating dimension of Gaza’s siege and the continued unrelenting attacks by the Zionist regime on the infrastructure and residential areas of the enclave, Aragut has called for the use of all international and regional possibilities, particularly in organisations of Islamic cooperation, providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza and halted the people of Zionist regime.
Iran’s foreign minister also criticized the recent decision by the Zionist legislature to expand occupational rules in the West Bank, known as part of a long-term project to eliminate Palestinian identity. According to Araguchi, such a move, along with the continued attacks in Gaza, demonstrates the Zionists’ determination to completely destroy the Palestinian lands and people. He therefore emphasized that Islamic countries should not remain silent in the face of such dangerous projects.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister on his part expressed serious concern about the deplorable humanitarian situation in Gaza, emphasizing actively working with the Islamic Republic of Iran and other Islamic countries, sending humanitarian aid, supporting humanitarian solutions, and supporting political solutions to end the crisis.
The two ministers also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Muslim countries, highlighting the need for collective action to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime.
