On a trip to Pakistan, Masroa announced that appropriate foundations have been prepared to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries, including the establishment of a joint freedom zone and out-of-regional cultivation.
In addition to exploring ways to expand trade relations between the two countries, we will also discuss issues such as the establishment of a joint freedom zone, territorial cultivation and the development of regional cooperation.
Establishing the sixth generation of freedom zones as a joint freedom zone is one of the main plans of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Freedom and Special Economic Zones, he added.
Iranian officials traveled to Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, along with President Masloud Pezeshkian, to establish a joint freedom zone between the two countries and conduct negotiations to expand economic and trade cooperation.
Pezeshkian arrived in the historic city of Lahore, the capital of Punjab on Saturday, in Pakistan’s first battle before meeting with Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif and other Pakistani officials to travel to Islamabad before making an official visit to Pakistan.
