TEHRAN–The Touring and Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran (TACI), the exclusive representative of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, will participate in the 2026 international exhibitions Fitur (Spain) and EMITT (Turkey) as one of the main organizers of international tourism and handicrafts events.
According to ISNA, official licenses to hold Iranian pavilions at these international tourism exhibitions were issued to TACI by Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
This license was issued after a professional assessment and review of the documents and evidence provided by TACI in order to strengthen the country’s international tourism status and develop cross-border cooperation.
Having achieved the required maximum points, TACI was included in the list of trusted organizers of TPO and successfully obtained the official license to organize the Iranian pavilion at the 2026 International Exhibition of Fitur and EMITT.
The Fitour exhibition held at Spain’s Madrid Exhibition Center is one of the purposes of promoting Iranian tourism, and Iran usually participates in this exhibition with the aim of attracting tourists from Latin-speaking countries.
EMITT, which is held every year in Istanbul, is considered a tourism event in the Eastern Mediterranean, and Iran often participates in this market with the aim of attracting Turkish tourists.
