The Iranian ambassador for Venezuela Ali Chegini conveyed a message of support from the Islamic Republic to the South American country against any threat to its peace and security.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto wrote on his social media network on Tuesday about Tehran’s message of support that took place during his meeting with Chegini.
Pinto said his discussion with Iranian envoys was aimed at “reaffirming the defense of strategic alliances, friendships and each other’s sovereignty” and joint cooperation to maintain a multipolar world order.
“We have received a message of support from the Islamic Republic government in Iran against the threat to peace and security threats across Venezuela, the Caribbean and Latin America,” a top diplomat said, revealing about the meeting with Iranian envoy:
He said that both Tehran and Karaka have mutual trust, believe in bilateral cooperation and express their hope that relying on peace diplomacy will continue to strengthen their activities in the multilateral forum.
