Iran’s Foreign Ministry strongly rejected allegations filed in the joint statement of the G7 and its partners, describing them as baseless, irresponsible, and purely scapegoating.
The ministry stressed that levelling false accusations against Iran’s national security chiefs are a blatant distortion of reality and a deceptive attempt to distract responsibility by those pursuing illegal and unstable actions around the world, particularly in West Asia.
The US and other G7 members emphasized that they must be accountable for their destructive roles in jeopardizing regional and global security, particularly for their destructive roles, for international law, humanitarian law, the Israeli regime’s accomplices in human rights in occupied Palestine, and for their support of well-known terrorist groups.
“It aims to distract global attention from this first century of crime as Zionist regimes, fully supported by the US, UK, Germany, France and other sponsors of this anti-Iran statement, commit genocide and genocide in occupied Palestine, fueling ongoing wars in the region and promoting the issuance of anti-Iran statements.”
Instead of sticking to scapegoating rooted in outdated colonial and supremacy ideas, sponsors of such irresponsible statements concluded that false criminal policies towards Iran and the region should be revised.
