Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh made his remarks in a special TV interview on Friday.
“If the enemy relies on another attack, we certainly deploy equipment that hasn’t been deployed yet,” he said.
Officials cited the country’s QASEM BASIR missile as one of the nation’s projectiles that were not emitted during defensive and retaliatory operations in the face of the Israeli regime’s war of unity in June.
He considered the missile, a solid fuel projectile in a range of 1,200 kilometers (745 miles) “essentially our surgical missile at the highest level of accuracy.”
The missile was developed using technical expertise derived from the true promises I and II retaliation operations last year to Israel’s attacks, he said.
The know-how used in the development of missiles can maintain enemy electronic warfare and electromagnetic countermeasures, Nasirzadeh pointed out.
“These measures will not affect missiles. The missiles will carry out a full precision strike against designated targets,” he said.
The minister said over the past year, Iranian forces have tested and manufactured other missiles that do not follow traditional ballistic trajectories due to their manipulable nature and the ability to avoid enemy intercept systems.
“We didn’t use these missile technologies during the 12-day war (either).”
“The enemy could not risk extending the war.”
Meanwhile, Nasirzadeh said the Israeli regime may have been unable to protect itself in the face of Iran’s retaliation ability if the war lasted more than 12 days.
“If the war lasted 15 days, in the last three days, the enemy may not have been able to defend themselves against any of our missiles.”
Meanwhile, he highlighted the expensive nature of enduring an Iranian missile barrage for the enemy, citing the price tag of the enemy’s much-risking interceptor.
“Defense is not easy. It’s not like firing a machine gun. These (enemy missiles) systems are large-scale equipment. Once the missiles are gone, reloading takes time,” he added.
“They are also very expensive. Fire multiple THAAD or Patriot missiles to intercept a single warhead is not simple and cannot be considered feasible.”
This overall situation forced the Israeli regime to demand a ceasefire shortly after the war, the official stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasirzadeh welcomed the inherent anti-emergency stance of the Islamic Republic and opposition to American hegemony in the Western Asia region.
“The West cannot tolerate countries like Iran, Russia, or China, as the Israeli regime is effectively pushing US policies.”
