Qasem Galibabadi, deputy director of legal and international affairs at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has rejected the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) based on “political” and “manufactured information.”
He said the report focuses on allegations more than 20 years ago, instead of highlighting extensive cooperation between Iran and the agency.
According to Gharibabadi, the IAEA acknowledges that there is no evidence of deviation in Iran’s current nuclear activity. However, under pressure from certain countries seeking political leverage, the institutions have chosen to revive past claims.
He further criticized the IAEA for ignoring Iran’s broad cooperation and comprehensive testing carried out, claiming that all Iran’s nuclear activities are peaceful and under full international supervision.
