In a statement marking the government week, military general staff expressed their gratitude to the “hard work, hardworking, enduring” president and his cabinet, and praised his commitment to serving the country. The statement emphasized the continued support of the government to help the military achieve the sacred objectives of the Islamic Revolution.
This message thanked Ayatollah, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, for stolen Ali Khamenei from his leadership and trust in the country’s defenders during the sacred era of defence and the recent 12 days of war. By following the leader’s orders, the military emphasized further strengthening Iran’s defensive capabilities and strengthening its national interests, territorial integrity and the protection of the Islamic Republic’s values.
The military highlighted the role of unity between people and state authorities in promoting Iran’s progress in the scientific, developmental and defence sectors of post-revolutionary science, developmental and defence. They warned against hostile efforts by the US and Israel to sow division within Iran after a 12-day unsuccessful conflict, and emphasized that attempts to weaken national unity would serve the enemy’s agenda.
Reaffirming their appreciation for the support of the people during the recent war and national solidarity, the military ensured that, through unity, coordination and cooperation with the government, particularly the President, was ready to stand up to threats and hostility, and would respond to the enemy with decisive and crushed forces.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovoked attack on Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people across the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary civilians.
The United States also took part in the war by bombing three nuclear sites in Iran with a serious violation of international law.
In response, Iranian forces targeted strategic sites across the occupying regions and Aldeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran managed to stop the terrorist invasion through successful retaliation operations against both the Israeli regime and the United States.
