Gharibabadi said in a post on his X account on Tuesday that he met and consulted with senior Tehran Russian and Chinese diplomats about the issue of “Snapback.” Snapback is a mechanism for returning Iran’s UN sanctions. Tehran has always warned that the threat of poses a mechanism to three European countries, participants in the 205 nuclear deal known as the JCPOA, is totally illegal as they failed to comply with the transaction at all.
The Iranian Deputy Minister gave X Social Network “In a meeting between the People’s Republic of China and the charities of the Russian Federation, we discussed and exchanged joint measures to counter the disruptive approach of the three European governments to UN Security Council resolution 2231.” Resolution 2231 approved the JCPOA.
He said: “All three countries believe resolution 2231 should be terminated on the deadline, and they believe that these countries do not have the legal right to cause snapbacks and are opposed to returning the Security Council resolution.”
