TEHRAN – Iran’s Minister of Cultural Heritage, Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, said it was in the interests of both countries to strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia, and he spoke at a ceremony to announce Saudi National Day at the hotel at Espinas Palace in Tehran on Tuesday.
According to Mehr’s news agency, he said: “We are optimistic about our relationship with Saudi Arabia in that we have many common approaches and future benefits, and we believe this relationship lies in the common interests of both countries.”
Salehi-Amiri expressed her joy at attending the Saudi Arabia National Day ceremony, saying:
Pointing to Saudi Arabia’s high status in the Islamic world and the importance of hosting pilgrims, he states: The two countries expand day by day, and this bond deepens. ”
He emphasized the political and regional aspects of the interrelationship, adding that Iran’s Saudi Arabia’s view is important not only as a hosting of the two sacred mosques and pilgrims, but also because of the strategic commonality between the two sides of the political and regional arena.
Salehi-Amiri added that fortunately, political relations between the two countries and their relations are growing, and continued consultations between senior officials from both countries are always ongoing.
“We are optimistic about this relationship in terms of having many common approaches and future benefits, and we believe that this relationship lies in the common interests of both countries, and through these relationships we believe that sustainable and desirable development can be achieved at the local level.”
Referring to the threat of a common region, he emphasized:
The actions of this administration are a general threat to all countries. The Zionist regime does not believe that there is a strong relationship between the countries of the region to be in its interests and always attempts to interfere with these relationships. ”
The minister praised Saudi Arabia’s clear stance on the inhumane actions of the Zionist regime in the region.
