TEHRAN – Esmaeir Bakaei, a spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, refused to negotiate new nuclear talks with the US during a press conference on Monday.
The statement comes amid the spread of sanctions “snapback” and the European threat to spark ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Baqaei is working on the prospect of reviving nuclear diplomacy with Washington. “There are no plans for negotiations at this time. We will determine and announce when Iran’s profits and what’s prompt will need it.”
He condemned the US and Israeli attacks on Iran’s civil nuclear facilities as a violation of “unprecedented” international law that destroys trust: “While arranging the following speech, one party encouraged military attacks against countries targeting peaceful nuclear power plants 24/7 under IAEA supervision.”
The spokesman emphasized that future consultations would require Washington to abandon coercion. “Negotiations should not be a tool for intimidation. We only use diplomacy if we are convinced that we will secure profits.”
The idiot ray stance reflects Tehran’s rage over the US-backed Israeli war with Iran during active US-Iran talks through Oman.
The European snapback threat is unjustified
When Istanbul consulted with E3 (UK, France, Germany) last week, Baqaei warned that European calls to the snapback mechanism in UNSC Resolution 2231 would backfire.
He said Iran delivered a harsh message in the debate: “The sanctions snapback will complicate a nuclear deadlock and trigger a proportional Iranian response that harms the non-intensive regime.”
In response to a recent statement by French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barott, an Iranian spokesman rejected France’s call to expand negotiations involving missile programs and regional activities, dismissing demand as “a threat rooted in European turmoil.” He emphasized that “our defensive capabilities developed by scientists are not for negotiation.”
Enrichment rights: “Non-negotiable”
In response to Trump’s new threat to Iran’s nuclear program, Fukaray declared: “Our enrichment route is clear. We are waiting for a damage assessment from the June attack, but we will continue to exercise our intransitable rights.”
He said technical discussions with the IAEA delegation will begin within two weeks under a new framework that respects Iran’s parliamentary orders.
Gaza: Documenting Genocide and Requiring Islamic Action
The Bakaray details Iran’s diplomatic push for the Islamic Cooperation Emergency Organization (OIC) summit, dealing with Gaza, where the Israeli regime killed almost 60,000 Palestinians and injured 150,000 people.
He condemned France’s appeal to Arab countries that denounced Hamas as “genocide conspiracy,” adding, “European double standards promote this genocide. Regional stability is not possible until Palestinians make self-determination through a referendum for all residents.”
Iran has submitted more than 150 pages of documents to international organisations for legal action against Israel, a spokesman said.
