Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaille Baghhai announced that on Saturday, April 19th, indirect negotiations for the second round between Tehran and Washington will take place in Muscat, Oman, following recent talks.
Rejecting recent speculations about changes in venues, Esmaeil Baghaei revealed that after diplomatic talks it was agreed that Oman would remain the organizer of indirect consultations between Iran and the US.
He emphasized that the second round of negotiations is set for Saturday, April 19th (corresponding to Fabadhan 30 in the Iranian calendar), and will once again be promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman.
In its first speech also held in Muscat, the Oman Foreign Ministry played an important mediator and conveyed a message between Iran and the US delegation.
