President Maud Pezeshkian of Iran’s Islamic Republic sent a congratulatory message to his counterparts in Azerbaijani on Azerbaijani National Day.
He highlighted the shared history and deep ties between the two neighbouring countries as a valuable foundation for strengthening bilateral relations.
Pezeshkian said Iran is determined to expand its relationship with Azerbaijan to the level of strategic partnership within the framework of mutual benefits. He emphasized the importance of accelerating joint projects in increasing transport, electricity, gas and bilateral trade and increasing human-person interaction.
The Iranian president further emphasized that Iran’s Islamic Republic believes in opening regional transport routes based on respect for the integrity of the country’s territorial region.
