The meeting is underway at the venue and the level of the vice minister at the Iranian consulate in Istanbul.
From Iran, Deputy Minister of Justice and International Foreign Affairs Kazem Galibabadi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Majid Tak Ravanchi are taking part in the discussions.
On Thursday night, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut said about negotiations in Istanbul on Friday:
Aragut said it would need to inform the other side that Iran’s Islamic Republic remains strong and robust, especially after the recent Israeli war. “Our uranium enrichment continues. We have not given up on this right of the people of Iran,” he said.
Tomorrow’s speech will follow the same path as before, and he said our position is clear and unchanged.
Previously, a spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the topic of discussion was clear. To lift sanctions and issues related to Iran’s nuclear program – this time with the difference that clearly expresses its position.
