He called on the international community to address the brutal crimes occurring in this part of occupied Palestine, pointing to continued attacks by Zionist forces and settlers on Palestinian camps in Nablus and Jenin, assassinations of Palestinians, arbitrary arrests of West Bank residents, and destruction of Palestinian farmers’ homes and farms.
The spokesperson then highlighted the responsibility of the international community, particularly the United Nations and the United Nations Human Rights Council, to address gross human rights violations of Palestinians by the Zionist regime, citing human rights organizations’ reports on the long-term detention of hundreds of Palestinian children in Israeli regime detention centers and prisons and the torture that led to the deaths of dozens of Palestinian prisoners of war.
Mr. Bagai stressed the need to record each of these heinous crimes as crimes against humanity and punish Zionist criminals.
