Esmaeil Baghaei calls repeated attacks by the Zionist regime on Yemen’s economic and public infrastructure, including airports, ports, power plants and food storage facilities, as a blatant crime against Yemeni people, and calls for an end to the UN Security Council’s inaction over the Zionist regime’s crimes against Yemen.
Baghaei considered the continued immunity of the Zionist regime, as a result of the full support of the Zionist regime, a crime against regional countries, as a major factor in the attacks and continued crimes of the Zionist regime.
Iranian diplomats emphasized that all governments in the region and around the world will be legally and morally responsible for confronting the occupied Palestinian genocide and punish officials in this false government’s ranking for committing heinous crimes.
Earlier on Monday, Yemen’s strategic port of al-Hudaeda was heavily fired by the Israeli regime in an attack that could further inflame tensions in the region.
Reuters reported hearing a major explosion at Al Hedidada in the port of Yemeni, citing local sources.
In an official statement, the Yemeni Ansarla movement confirmed its aggression and said that Zionist enemies have launched a series of extensive airstrikes targeting Al-Hudida ports.
A Zionist source said Israeli fighter jets fired 20 heavy missiles at the port.
