Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman strongly condemns the widespread airstrikes by the Zionist regime against various areas in the southern, central and northern Gaza Strip, as well as the airstrikes targeting tents of Palestinian refugees, which resulted in the martyrs and injuries of dozens of Palestinians, including many innocent children.
Referring to the Zionist regime’s history of blatant violation of all legal and moral rules and norms, Bagai said: “The Zionist regime’s attacks over the past 24 hours against the defenseless people of Gaza, carried out on the direct orders of the regime’s prime minister, are in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement and are another manifestation of the regime’s intention to continue its genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people.”
He called on all governments to end the Zionist regime’s crimes and punish perpetrators in accordance with the Genocide Convention.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also noted the continuing serious violations of human rights and humanitarian law in occupied Palestine, given the United States’ comprehensive support for the Palestinian Authority, and emphasized the special responsibility of the ceasefire guarantors to curb the Zionist regime’s warmongering and genocide.
