In response to an unfounded allegation made by the Dutch National Security Agency against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran’s Dutch ambassador, Emil de Bonn, was summoned by Alileza Yussefi, director of Western Europe’s Foreign Ministry of Iran.
During the meeting, Youusefi firmly rejected the claims made in the Dutch Intelligence Agency’s annual report, explaining that accusations of Iran’s involvement in the Dutch assassination plot were baseless and unacceptable.
He urged the Dutch Foreign Ministry to adopt a professional and respectful approach to bilateral relations with Iran, refrain from repeating unfounded and inappropriate accusations, halting comprehensive support for the Genocide Israeli regime, and urging the Netherlands to play a constructive role in West Asia’s development.
The Dutch ambassador said he would communicate strong Iranian protests to his government.
