In a congratulations message to Iranian Defence Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, on Defense Industry Day, the defense general said the rapid advances in the country’s defense capabilities were the result of the strategic and wise guidance of leaders of the Islamic Revolution.
He said that the climax of these defence achievements and advancements in both software and hardware fields would exist during the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime on June 13th (which imposed a war on Iran between 1980 and 1988).
“Believing in domestic scientists and relying on diverse and indigenous defense systems amidst oppressive sanctions has shown that Iran does not wait for permission from foreigners in the production and use of defenses to maintain national security,” he emphasized.
“The 12-day war against Iran proved that national unity and Amity’s strategy were led to victory over the enemy and obstructed the enemy’s malicious purpose in achieving their targets,” he said.
“Like in the past, Iran’s powerful army is ready to take enormous measures towards the progress of the country, along with the Ministry of Defense, by leveraging the potential of the nation,” stressed General Khatami.
