At the start of the meeting, Satrillon said: “Fortunately, Iran and Tajikistan share many commonalities in the cultural and artistic fields, and these connections have already produced the production of several collaborative works in theatre and music.
“I think these collaborations should grow in many ways. In this regard, my colleagues and I, at the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan, are ready to begin a new chapter in cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” she added.
On her side, Nadereh Rezaei said: “We hope to witness a new breakthrough in our collaborative collaboration. We plan to invite Tajik artists, theatres and music groups to participate in the FAJR Festival in 2026.”

In another part of her remarks, Rezaei announced that the ministry is ready to participate in Nowruz-related events, forming a joint ensemble of male and female students from the Music Conservatory. “We consider Tajikistani artists to be close friends who can be engaged in many collaborative projects. Here we warmly invite them to visit our country and explore Iran’s rich cultural and artistic heritage,” she pointed out.
Speaking during the session, Alileza Hagian expressed his joy at the existence of the Iranian play “Fox Hunting Etiquette” with the Deputy Minister, presented the “Fox Hunting Etiquette” at the Tajikistan theatre festival and presented a report on the cultural activities of the Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan. “Following a series of successful and impactful programs, we will be hosting more special events at Dushanbe, including commemorative ceremonies for Hafez and Feldouzi, and we also received important support from the Tajik Cultural Authority for these efforts.
“The recent positive developments have been the participation of Tajik actors and artists in Iranian film and television series. We consider this a promising step into a new joint venture between Iran and Tajikistan. Participation in the Iranian group theatre festival is part of the path we are paying attention to,” the Ambassador said.
At the end of the meeting, Lezaei presented a gift on behalf of the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic leadership. This includes handmade needlework from artists from Cistan Barchestan, as well as a collection of classic Iranian music played by Maestro Hossein Alizadeh in Satrillon. In return, Minister Tajik presented Rezaei with traditional Tajikistani clothing and handmade crafts.
