Both presidents made these statements in a telephone conversation Thursday. There they blessed each other on the occasion of Eid al-Ada, the Islamic Adha.
President Pezeschkian emphasized the importance of this Eid as a symbol of unity, brotherhood and spiritual bonds between Islamic countries, and expressed his hope that auspicious opportunities will strengthen solidarity in Islamic countries.
Pezeschkian also praised the initiative of the Turkmen National Leaders to hold peace seminars, describing it as a clear approach to promoting peace and unity.
The Iranian president further expressed hope that solidarity in Islamic countries is increasing peace and tranquility, while also paving the way for the Zionist regime to force the Zionist regime to stop brutal crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the growing relationship between Iran and Turkmenistan, hoping that the interaction between Tehran and Ashgabat would expand and deepen every day.
President Berdimhadou mentioned the historic and friendly relations between Iran and Turkmenistan, saying that both countries have always lived in peace, friendship and good neighbours.
He emphasized that relations between the two countries have developed in political, economic and cultural fields and are ready to expand relations at various levels.
