Tehran – Iran has formally called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following Israel’s “fierce attacks.”
In a letter submitted on a permanent mission to the United Nations, Tehran condemned Israeli attacks and urged the Security Council to urgently convene it to deal with violations of Iran’s sovereignty.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will respond to these illegal acts in coronaviruses in decisive and proportional deterrent ways at one time and place of their choice,” the letter states.
He declared that Iran’s territorial integrity, national security and defending citizens is a fundamental and unnegotiable right.
“The Zionist regime will pay a significant price for this attack and its strategic miscalculation.”

Dr. Feredun Abbasi, former head of Iran’s atomic energy organization. And it was confirmed that all leading nuclear physicist and scholar Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi were killed in the attack.
