At a meeting with Swedish new ambassador Matthias Otterstead, the new ambassador for Tehran, President Pezeschkian said he believes Iran will resolve the issue through dialogue and non-violence.
After receiving his Otterstead qualification, President Pezeschkian pointed to years of diplomatic relations between Iran and Sweden, expressing his hope that the tenure of Tehran’s new ambassador will strengthen relations across various sectors.
At another meeting, the Iranian president received Tehran Vitezvepr’s new Czech ambassador qualification.
Pezeshkian said fostering inter-country interactions could alleviate many tensions and promote better coexistence among people.
The Swedish and Czech ambassadors conveyed the state’s commitment to expanding economic ties with Iran.
At the end of the meeting, the Czech ambassador presented President Pezeskian with carved wooden plaques, commemorating the historic meeting of representatives of Shah Abbas Safavid and representatives of Czech officials 400 years ago.
