At the meeting between Iranian and Belarusian defense officials, the two countries discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the defense, technology and industrial fields. The two leaders also emphasized the importance of deepening ties and expanding technological partnerships based on mutual benefits.
Minister Nasirzadeh expressed satisfaction with the progress in relations between Tehran and Minsk, saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to strengthen defense and industrial ties with friendly and independent states, and that Belarus enjoys a prominent position in these efforts.
Belarusian official Dmitry Pantus highlighted Iran’s significant capabilities in the industrial and technological fields and expressed the intention to strengthen cooperation in research and development, production of defense equipment and exchange of industrial expertise.
Both sides reaffirmed common perspectives on regional and international issues, drafted a roadmap for future cooperation, and expressed readiness to accelerate joint projects and utilize bilateral and multilateral mechanisms, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
