Iran’s National Mathematics Olympic Team took second place at the 3rd International Mathematics Summer Camp (IMSC), competing with 32 other countries.
Despite a week delay in arrival due to Iran’s war situation, the six-man mathematics Olympiad team from Iran achieved remarkable success in the third IMSC, securing one gold medal, four silver medals and one bronze medal.
Bardia Khosh-Eqbal won the gold medal, Amir-Hossein Zarei won the bronze medal, while Mehdi Aqajanlou, Parsa Tajalai, Mohammad-Reza Attaranzadeh and Mohammad-Sajjad Memari each won the silver medal.
IMSC is one of the world’s most important mathematical events, with top teams from around the world taking part in promoting the science level. This year, the event was held on Beijing Mathematical Science and Applications at Tangyun Hillside Villa from June 18th to July 11th.
