TEHRAN – Early on Monday morning, Iran unleashed a second wave of missiles targeting Israeli territory, marking its 10th barrage of hell since the start of the conflict. The attack continued during a time of growing unrest in the occupying territories where Israelis remained at shelters after the first strike near midnight and subsequent false alarms.
Despite intense censorship by Israeli authorities, footage circulating online showed a massive power plant in Haifa, engulfed in flames. A widespread power outage was subsequently reported across the occupied territories. Several Tel Aviv sites were also hit during the latest missile launch. More videos show the numerous ambulances gathered at one affected location to retrieve patients.
Early in the middle of the night, Iran targeted strategic sites in the Negev Desert and Kiriyat Gat, as well as other parts of Haifa, causing significant damage to military and economic infrastructure. The Negev Desert, a frequent target for Iranian strikes, houses the Dimona nuclear complex and the site of the deployment of secret missiles. Kiryat Gat is an important semiconductor manufacturing hub for Israel’s military technology sector.
The previous day, Iran struck the regime’s largest oil refinery and over 150 military and intelligence news locations across the occupied territories.
The war between Iran and Israel began early on Friday after the administration began sweeping into Tehran’s residential buildings and nuclear grounds. Subsequent Israeli attacks focus primarily on civilian infrastructure. The administration has so far as assassinated seven Iranian military officials, nine nuclear scientists and more than 220 Iranian civilians.
Iran vowed to continue his attack until Israel became “powerless.”
The motivation behind Israel’s latest escalation remains unknown, but some experts suggest that the regime wanted to cause public unrest over the Iranian government. Others point out that Israel expects targeted killings of Iran’s military leaders to undermine Iran’s ability to effectively retaliate.
