Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf strongly condemned the “interventionist and baseless claims” made in the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) joint statement and the European Union Foreign Ministers’ Conference.
The Iranian state will not compromise with the delusional party over Iran’s territorial integrity, Ghalibaf declared during his address to a public session of parliament on Wednesday.
Referring to the second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, he said that the operation launched by the Palestinian resistance forces under the leadership of Hamas not only dealt a strategic blow to the Zionist regime, but also disrupted the calculations of global arrogance and plunged Israel into the quagmire of defeat.
Ghalibaf claims Palestinian life and destroyed Gaza, despite Israel’s continued attacks, repelled by the United States, resistance fronts in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and the wider region have become the unfavorable territorial disadvantage of Zioniel’s largest territory.
He stressed that while the Israeli regime faces an internal crisis, resistance movements, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and regional resistance cells, maintain strength and morale. Citing reports of declining public confidence and reverse migration from occupied Palestine, he said Zionists had lost their sense of security and social cohesion.
He reaffirmed the Iranian parliament’s full support for Palestine and urged international organizations to prosecute Israel’s war crimes. Concluding his remarks, he paid tribute to the martyrs of al-Aqsa Storm, including the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, and pledged: “We will stand in resistance until the complete liberation of al-Quds.”
