Tehran – The state has reaffirmed that Iranian lawmakers will only accept a fair agreement on its peaceful nuclear activities and the removal of illegal American sanctions.
In Wednesday’s declaration, lawmakers highlighted Iran’s principled involvement in indirect consultations with the United States, viewing it as another opportunity for the United States to prove integrity to the world.
The statement argued that Iran only agrees to a fair resolution that fully secures its rights under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the IAEA Act, and with the full end of oppressive and illegal US sanctions. The Congress’s strategic plan of action to counter sanctions will guide Iranian negotiators.
The declaration further emphasized that Iran’s defenses will continue to be strengthened and blocked the threat. He also criticised recent US sanctions, particularly in energy, for conflict with Washington’s alleged positive intentions during the talks.
The lawmakers also cherished the leadership of Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, who provided clear direction for Iran to demonstrate its strength.
Leading by Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut, Iranian negotiators held a fourth-round indirect consultation with the US team led by Steve Witkov in Muscat on Sunday.
Oman brokered consultations that both sides deemed productive. The debate centered on Iran’s nuclear program and lifting sanctions through a deal that replaces the 2015 version of the United States then withdrew during President Donald Trump’s first term.
