TEHRAN – The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency (AEOI) issued a joint statement on Thursday. The Islamic Republic said the Islamic Republic will set up a “very safe” location in response to the adoption of a “political” resolution against Iran by the International Atomic Energy Commission responsible for the “non-dependent nuclear” of the “nuclear noc coefficient.”
The moves will significantly increase Iran’s uranium enrichment stockpile, the statement added.
The resolution, drafted by the UK, France and Germany and supported by the US, was handed 19 votes, three votes, against and 11 votes on Thursday. Russia, China and Burkina Faso voted against it. Among the countries that abstained were South Africa, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia and Brazil.
Before the resolution was adopted, IAEA Director Rafael Grossi issued a strong-worded statement on Monday about Iran’s nuclear program.
“We believe the IAEA report is politically motivated and biased, but these four countries (the European trio and the US) go beyond that by drafting resolutions that contradict the main content of the Director’s political report.”
“As previously announced, Iran’s Islamic Republic has no choice but to respond to this political solution,” the joint statement said.
The required order was issued by Iranian nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami by constructing a new enrichment site in a safe location and replacing the first-generation centrifuge with the advanced sixth generation of Ford’s Shahid Dr. Ali Mohammadi Centre. “Other measures have also been ironed,” he said.
The Western countries launched a new challenge by proposing a resolution against Iran that was voted at the IAEA Board of Directors on Thursday. Iran’s decisive response to a politically motivated solution that could be the beginning of a new standoff between Iran and the West sends a message that Iran will not succumb to pressure.
“Major strategic mistakes”
Regarding the new move to resolve the Iranian condemnation, Iran’s deputy nuclear chief Beleuz Kamalbandi said, “One of these actions is the establishment of the country’s third safe enrichment facility, which is highly safe and suggests “strategically “‘” important.”
It is not the first time that the IAEA Committee has adopted a resolution against Iran.
“We have seen such behavior many times before. This approach has always warned them that there are no consequences,” Kamalbandi pointed out.
The deputy nuclear chief said, “Unfortunately they (the West) believe that various pressures, including economic sanctions and political pressures, can force Iran to retreat from its legitimate position. This was a “major strategic mistake” that has been tested many times and had no consequences.
“I will not submit to bullying.”
Speaking to people at a gathering in Ilam, western Ilam on Thursday, President Masuud Pezeshkian said the US and European countries were trying to put maximum pressure on Iran with the belief that “we can prevent our progress.”
However, Pezeschkian added: “We rely on God. We are not in the United States that we are not going to war with the world. We want to engage in dialogue with the world, but we do not submit to bullying and coercion.”
