TEHRAN – Iran will be participating in five international tourism fairs in Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Spain, said Islem Shohai, Director of Marketing and Foreign Tourism Development, Ministry of Tourism.
Iran participated in Citie 2025 in Guangzhou, China from September 12-14.
It is worth noting that the five international tourism exhibitions that will take part in realizing the aforementioned support plans for Iran to introduce the country’s tourism capabilities are Iraq Tourism Exhibition in November 2025, February 2026, Iraq Tourism Exhibition in Madrid Fitter Spain Spain Iraq Tourism Exhibition, and Istanbul, Istanbul, Istanbul, 2026.
It was reported that Pakistan in Karachi was reported in April 2026 and Azerbaijan AITF in Baku in April 2026.
He explained that the International Tourism Exhibition is considered one of the most important marketing tools in the industry, and in addition to directly introducing capabilities to foreign activists and tourists, it will also create a platform for negotiation, networking and establishing sustainable partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Shojaei emphasized that all costs for renting space and building booths at six international tourism exhibitions will be covered by 100% government subsidies until the end of spring 2026.
He said that serious damages inflicted on the country’s tourism activists following the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime, the need to introduce the country’s tourism capabilities in international sectors, and efforts to restore the correct image of Iran have urged efforts to take action that the Deputy Minister of Tourism to take in favor of the support of the International Tourism Bureau, in addition to providing connections with international tourism advocates to support the comprehensive platform.
Shojaei said that participation in the Guangzhou exhibition in China was the first event following the realization of the aforementioned support programme, saying, “The presence of Islamic Republic of Iran at the Guangzhou International Tourism Exhibition (Citie 2025) held in China, with support from the Tourism of Isputy held in China from September 11th to 13th. Iran (TACI) is an example of this action.
