Speaking at a meeting on Sunday focused on assessing the latest status of energy supply to industries and producers, Mr. Pezeshkian praised the efforts of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Petroleum in advancing optimization programs and expanding efforts in renewable energy.
“With the completion of ongoing solar panel projects and the implementation of consumption control measures, a large part of the energy imbalance in the country will soon be eliminated,” the president said.
He also emphasized the need to manage energy resources wisely during the upcoming cold season, stressing that ensuring adequate power and gas supply to producers and the industrial sector is an absolute priority for the government.
“Sustainable production secures people’s livelihoods and maintains the vitality of the national economy,” Pezeshkian added.
He also directed the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to promote the installation of solar power systems in industrial parks, noting that all industrial parks should be equipped with solar panels.
