The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Egyptian Council of Foreign Relations, where views were exchanged on growing relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Egyptian Republic. The two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ diplomatic councils.
Feldshipur highlighted the deep historical and civilized relations between Iran and Egypt, and the importance of continuing consultations between the foreign ministers of both countries.
On last year’s invitation by Kamal Haraj, head of the Strategic Council on Iran’s Diplomacy, he updated the invitation and highlighted the need to develop “Track II diplomacy” along the formal channel.
In friendly interactions with Iranian diplomats and members of the Egyptian council, El Rabi highlighted the role of Iranian regions, and the importance of strengthening cooperation between think tanks and diplomatic institutions given the historical and civilized connections of the two countries.
