Speaking to local Iranian media on Thursday, Haidari said the Iranian Army ground forces are pursuing leaders of the Islamic revolution.
He added that 11 brigades of the Army Ground Forces are stationed along the border to establish a sustainable security in the country.
He emphasized that Iran has always faced a threat, but the constant preparation of the military has repelled them, calling it a realization of deterrence.
“An enemy who foolishly considers attacking our country will regret it and will withdraw the plan when faced with combat preparations for the ground forces,” Haidari said.
At a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, Anwar Galgash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, submitted a letter from US President Donald Trump to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut.
However, the contents of Trump’s letter remain private.
Trump himself argued in an interview with the Fox business issued on March 7 that he had sailed Ali Khamenei to leaders of the Islamic Revolution and offered consultations on Iran’s nuclear program, but warned that the alternative was military intervention.
Ayatollah Khamenei said on Wednesday that the US president’s call for negotiations with Iran was nothing more than an attempt to portray the Islamic Republic as a party that “deceives the public opinion of the world” and does not want to give diplomacy another time.
