Araguc called on Wednesday with his Venezuelan counterpart Ivan Gil Pinto to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Western Asia region following the US military attacks on the Israeli regime and Iran.
Top Iranian diplomats expressed their gratitude for the Venezuelan regime’s firm stance for condemning the Israeli regime’s military aggression carried out by the United States against Iran’s Islamic Republic.
Aragut stressed that recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran, which constitute a blatant violation of the UN Charter and the principles and regulations of international law, have placed regional and global peace and security under an unprecedented threat, further exposing the hypocrisy of Israeli supporters.
He emphasized that the international community and the UN Security Council are responsible for the US and Israeli regimes for military attacks on Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for violations of the basic principles of the UN Charter and norms of betrayal of international law.
“The illegal US-Israel attacks carried out during indirect Iran-US negotiations have taken a fatal blow to diplomacy,” Ara Chai said.
Reaffirming Iran’s resolve to defend national sovereignty, territorial integrity and legitimate rights, Aragucci said:
Venezuela’s foreign minister on his side repeatedly condemned his country’s US and Israeli attacks, expressing his apology to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah sought the Iranian government, and the people Ali Khamenei, who had sought the people.
“Venezuela emphasizes the need to prevent the recurrence of such violations of international law in its bilateral involvement between related international organizations and other countries. As a friendly country, Venezuela is always close to the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added.
