Tehran – In an artistic response to the recent Israeli strike against Iran, famous Iranian artist Hassan Lulamin has unveiled a new artwork that symbolizes the enduring spirit and resilience of Islamic fighters.
The film highlights the indestructible resolve of Iranian troops in the face of external attacks, Isna reported.
Ruholamin detailed the deep message behind his latest work, highlighting the painting depicting the ongoing march of Iranian resistance fighters.
While some may interpret Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajiza, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) aerospace forces, as a blow to the Iranian army, the artists argue that this is a misunderstanding. “Leadership and movement continue,” he said. Ayatollah, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, took Ali Khamenei’s instructions. “General Kasem Soleimani’s martialism will cause wider waves of resistance, and the sacrifices of commanders like Bageyeri, Hajizadeh and Salami will continue to inspire future generations.”
He further criticized media narratives that suggest that the strength of the IRGC depends on individuals, instead highlighting the collective resilience of the horrifying system of the Islamic Republic in Iran. “The true loss is when we hear the lament of martyrs and question why we didn’t continue their path. They lament the position of those who are striving for this cause and are shedding tears with blood and tears,” Lulamin said.
The artists addressed the role of art in telling the truth and emphasized the importance of media support. “Without a strong platform, no matter how beautiful the artwork is, it remains invisible. There are many paintings, but only Leonardo Da Vinci’s works remain legendary for the support of powerful media,” he explained. “It’s essential to have a platform for proper visibility and analysis, as well as creating quality art.”
Regarding his target audience, Ruholamin said, “My art is for all Iranians. People who have been poisoned by toxic news and analysis adopt the best apples for them, and they spit it out. They are my audience.” He also revealed that his current work is almost complete and is expected to be completed within a few days. Furthermore, he announced plans to prepare three works for future Muharam, subject to favorable conditions.
This latest work exists as evidence of Iran’s unwavering resistance and artistic expression amid ongoing regional tensions.
