TEHRAN – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad issued a statement to extend the celebration to the government and the people of Pakistan on Pakistan’s National Day.
“As the great Pakistan nation’s great nation celebrates Pakistan’s National Day, staff at the Islamic Republic Embassy and resident embassy in Iran will make Pakistan’s government and country stand out on this auspicious occasion,” the statement read.
The embassy paid tribute to Pakistan’s founder Quaid-I-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and philosopher Allama Iqbal, recognised Pakistan’s resilience and courage throughout its history.
The statement highlighted the strong relationship between Iran and Pakistan, highlighting Islamic brotherhood, good neighbors, mutual respect, and the principles that have supported their bond. “Based on the solid decisions of their leadership, Iran and Pakistan value their exemplary relationship in the all-round sector,” the embassy noted.
This message concluded with a well wish for enduring peace, progress and security in Pakistan.
